Craft Broadcasting LLC was formed in 2010 to serve as a consulting firm in the acquisition and sales of radio and TV stations. The Florida based corporation first acquired TV Channel 8, licensed to Springfield, Missouri and immediately transitioned the facility from analog to digital channel 21. Mike Craft, with over 40 years of broadcasting and media experience, then began negotiating with a myriad of available networks to develop a diverse, family friendly programming schedule to serve Springfield, Missouri DMA #73 with KRFT-LD TV8.
Mike then engaged Craft Broadcasting LLC in a consulting relationship with MountainPlex Media LLC in Hinton, WV to acquire and develop a media conglomerate to serve that region. After establishing Springfield programming on Channel 8.1 – 8.4 Mike began commuting between Missouri and West Virginia.
In the Spring of 2017 Patricia Craft was appointed Director of Craft Broadcasting LLC and began to refresh the original mission of KRFT-LD TV8 by launching new networks including LIGHTtv, This TV, Nuestra Vision and SonLife Broadcasting Network. In September, 2019 KRFT-LD TV8 launched the hotly anticipated networks COURT TV and the new CBS Lifestyle Channel, Dabl Network. KRFT-LD TV8 is currently in negotiations for two additional networks expected to launch in late 2019 or early 2020 which will bring to 12 the number of Networks on KRFT-LD TV8.
In addition to directing KRFT-LD TV8, Patricia has created and produced numerous local television commercials including three for Springfield’s annual fall festival “Cider Days on Historic Walnut Street,” designed the new logo and artwork for KRFT-LD TV8, as well as having taken the wheel of their social media presence and, along with Blane Craft, designed a new website for Craft Broadcasting LLC. Patricia brings a strong corporate background to Craft Broadcasting LLC and KRFT-LD TV8 having worked many years for a number of large corporations in Phoenix, AZ.
